Ever heard the phrase, Show me your friends, and I’ll tell you who you are?

How about, You are what you eat?

Those sayings imply that who you choose as friends and what you choose to eat are very telling.
Here’s a new one… Show me your calendar and I’ll tell you where your time goes.

It makes sense, right?

If you’re exercising daily but feel super sluggish and keep packing on the pounds, you probably don’t need to increase the length of your workouts; you need to analyze what you’re putting in your mouth. Good nutritionists will tell you to journal everything you eat so you can figure out where you’re misstepping and make adjustments so you can shed the unwanted weight. A Big Mac here, loaded nachos there, a cup of ice cream every night before bed, all add up to a ton of carbs, fats, and calories that don’t exactly scream fit.

In the same way, if you’re feeling super stressed, overwhelmed, or out of balance, look at your calendar. It’s telling you a LOT. Are you willing to listen?

Accurate time tracking and calendar analyzing provides exceptional data that can steer you in the direction of improving your time management so you can feel less stressed, more in control, and more balanced, to name a few.

In this episode of Productivity Straight Talk, I dive into the strategy of tracking your time and analyzing your calendar to help you identify where you can make small improvements in your time management to see major results in your business and life.
