How many computer monitors do you use?
Back in the dark ages, I only used one. One for making my way across the Oregon Trail, playing Solitaire, and dialing up to AOL. One monitor was all I knew. It’s what we all knew. But once you know better, you do better. So once I started my business and the technology became available to have two monitors working as one, I hopped on that bandwagon as fast as Michael Phelps swims a lap.
Working with two monitors gave me a larger digital workspace and significantly reduced having to minimize and close windows to see what else I was working on. Since I work primarily from my task list, I usually have my calendar and task list open on one screen and the task or project I’m working on open on the other screen. This system supports my workflow and ability to stay focused on my tasks and goals for the day. Now, I cannot imagine ever working without two monitors. In short, that one tech upgrade greatly increased my efficiency and effectiveness, and improved my workflow.
