What You'll Discover In This Episode:
Has business been slow for you lately? I keep hearing that from some of my clients. I know that is not the case for every business owner but overall, business has seemed to slow down across many industries due in part to uncertainty in the political and economical climates. Also, more and more people can’t afford the current higher interest rate loans, credit cards, or other ways they would typically fund their business so money has been moving more slowly.
If you’ve been in business for many years, you know that this slower time is just part of the cycle and businesses will boom again, perhaps next season, perhaps in a couple of years. Every year cannot be a season of massive growth. Still, pain, anxiety, and fear during slow downs in your business is understandable… BUT there is also an incredible opportunity to take advantage of in slower seasons should you choose to.
In times when your business was soaring and you had a waitlist full of clients itching to work with you, you might have craved more time and energy to brainstorm project ideas, get more organized, create systems and processes, make new hires, renovate your office, and the like. If you find that you now have that time and energy you’ve previously craved, use it intentionally! Invest in your team, yourself, and your business so once you are out of this slower season and things are really rolling again, you have a better, stronger business to show for it and are equipped to confidently and consistently show up for your clients at peak performance.
In this episode of the Small Business Straight Talk Podcast, I dive into my hit list of 20 ways you can reallocate the time and energy you now have so you can create a more solid foundation in your business and prepare to move ahead full throttle when business is booming again.
