What You'll Discover In This Episode:
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Whether or not you have a sweetheart to celebrate this Hallmark holiday with, my wish for you is to be in love… with your business! It consumes a great deal of your time, money, and energy, after all, so loving your business will help you love your life more.
I want you to be head over heels in love with your business whether you just opened your business or are celebrating your 15th year in business. That’s easier said than done if the honeymoon phase feels like eons ago and you’ve spent many months, if not years, dealing with the long hours, unpredictability, challenging clients, deadlines, and administrative BS that often accompanies running a business.
Well, today I’m going to gift you fifteen different strategies to help you fall back in love with your business despite its flaws. Strategies that should help make the day to day grind more enjoyable and less stressful.
Just like eating an entire box of assorted chocolates in one sitting will likely make you sick so you shouldn’t do it, executing all of these strategies in a short time period will likely make you even more overwhelmed than you already are so you shouldn’t attempt it.
As a general rule, implement new business strategies one at a time and tweak it until it works for you. Once that strategy becomes a habit that nestles seamlessly into your routine, then start implementing the next one you want to try. The same rule applies to the strategies I present in this week’s episode of Productivity Straight Talk.
Just like any romantic relationship, you’ve got to put the work in. Otherwise, whatever love is left for your business can fizzle out and make you destined for a breakup. Don’t that be you. It’s time to make some moves and fall back in love with your business!
