When I sat down and reflected on the year so far and looked ahead to plan Q4, I realized that I needed to decide what I needed for this next season. Not my family. Not my business. Me. That’s because I have been feeling really tired from all that has occurred in the current season of life that I am wrapping up. I’ve been pushing through a lot of unexpected personal responsibilities which required a huge time investment over the last six months. It was clear that if I didn’t decide to let something go from my plate of responsibilities, I would not be able to show up as my best self for my family, my team, my clients, or me.
All of this to say that I have made a big decision in my business, a decision that puts my family and business revenue second for a period. And that’s okay. I know that being productive (investing your best time into your best activities) must often change with the seasons. And in this upcoming season, I need to put me first.
