What You'll Discover In This Episode:
In Nicole Kalil’s mid to late twenties, she was moving up quickly within her Fortune 100 finance firm and looked the part of the confident, independent woman on the rise. The problem was, how it looked externally didn’t match how Nicole felt internally.
Every day, Nicole put on a show when she stepped into the firm. She showed up in a way that met everyone’s expectations of her. On the inside, she was lonely which led an above-average spending problem to go with her above-average income. Up close, it wasn’t a pretty picture. It was a sad one.
What Nicole recognized was that people were often commenting on her confidence even though she didn’t feel confident. This ignited a fire in Nicole to learn more about what confidence truly is, develop her own, and unlock how one can build confidence for themselves. Like so many business owners, she wound up turning her pain into her passion and into her purpose. Today, Nicole is obsessed with the topic of confidence and has made a successful career out of sharing her knowledge and helping others develop true confidence and trust in themselves.
As Nicole so wisely said, “Confidence isn’t, ‘I know what I’m doing.’ Confidence is, ‘I’ll figure it out.’
